Privacy policy

The data controller is Selnio, Poland. You can reach us at contact@selnio.com for any question about this policy or your data.

Forms on this site: when you join early access or send a message, we store the email address, name, store or company name, topic, message and the interests you selected, together with the language you used and the page you sent it from.

Technical data: to prevent abuse we store a hashed version of your IP address and your browser identifier for each submission. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address.

Analytics: we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool hosted on our own servers in the EU. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We see aggregated page views and referrers only.

To run the early access program and reply to your messages: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

To email you about the launch and onboarding of Selnio: your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

To keep the site secure and prevent spam: our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Early access sign-ups are kept until the program ends or you withdraw consent, and no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us.

Contact messages are kept for 12 months after we close the conversation.

Technical logs are kept for 90 days.

Our hosting provider in the European Union and the email service used to send our replies. Both act on our instructions under data processing agreements.

We do not sell personal data and we do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area.

You can ask for access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before.

To use any of these rights, email contact@selnio.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.

The site sets one cookie, NEXT_LOCALE, only when you switch language. It stores your language choice for the session and contains no personal data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced to early access members by email.
